AFC Sudbury will travel on the road for the last time this season, as the champions visit 14th placed Phoenix Sports for the first time.
Date: Saturday 16th April 2016
Competition: Ryman Division One North
Kick-Off: 3:00pm
Location: Phoenix Sports Ground, Bexleyheath.
Jamie Godbold's side were confirmed as champions after they won 1-0 at Tilbury last weekend, and picked up a point in midweek, to see the Yellows reach the 100-point mark in the Ryman North.
Steve O'Boyle's side go into the match against AFC, having winning one game in their last four fixtures: A 2-1 win away at Dereham was followed by a 1-1 draw with Thamesmead Town and a 2-2 draw with promotion-hopefuls Harlow Town,
Godbold will be without captain Sam Clarke and Jack Wilkinson, with Stephano Mallardo is suspended. However, Reserves defender Tyler French will be in the first-team travelling squad.
The Yellows beat the Greens 1-0 back in December, at the Wardale-Williams Stadium, courtesy of Parker's second half penalty.
AFC supporters will be encouraged to follow the club's tradition to attend the match in fancy dress.
League News: AFC Hornchurch will be guaranteed the remaining play-off spot if Cheshunt lose at home to Romford.
Reserve Team: AFC Sudbury Reserves vs Ely City in the Thurlow Nunn League has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch!
