Southend are preparing for their match tonight as they are just two wins away from Wembley.
The Blues meet Leyton Orient in London for the Area South final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Paul Sturrock felt nervous ahead of the first leg but was hopeful: “It’s going to be very difficult. You can lose the tie after the first leg, but you can’t win it. We have to be in the game by the time it comes back to Roots Hall, this is just the first-half. We’re going to have to be nice and compact and look to hit them on the break.”
In League One, Colchester visit a Swindon Town side who are limited to naming a full 18-man squad with 13 players for Town to choose from. Colchester meet Swindon in this re-arranged fixture.
Meanwhile, England's Under 21's meet the Swedish Under 21's for a international friendly at the Banks Stadium in Walsall.
