Ipswich Town have renewed their interest in goalkeeper Lee Camp following his frustrating short-term spell at Norwich City, according to reports from the East Anglian Daily Times.
The Blues were close to signing the 28-year-old from Nottingham Forest back in January, but were pipped to the deal when their East Anglian rivals offered him the chance to realise his long-standing Premier League ambition. #
Camp made just one start and two substitute appearances for the Canaries though, with Mark Bunn acting as the main cover to the injured John Ruddy throughout the second half of the campaign. The Northern Ireland international’s short-term deal at Carrow Road is soon to expire and the prospect of more regular football at Portman Road could convince him to make the cross-border switch.
