Town will face Dublin side Shelbourne at their Tolka Park home in a pre-season friendly on Saturday 6th July (KO 5pm).Boss Mick McCarthy plans to take the squad to Ireland for a week’s training at Carton House in Kildare with the game following at the weekend. The former Ireland manager and skipper is only looking to play one friendly during the trip.
Shelbourne are currently 12th in the Airtricity League Premier Division, Ireland’s top flight. Tolka Park has a capacity of 9,680.
