Batch: Happy with performance at Lowestoft

Sudbury manager David Batch has shown his happiness with his team's performance against Lowestoft Town in the clubs' 2-0 victory over the Yellows.

He said “The game was about players taking on information and it will be the same on Friday, it‘s about which players can take on the information I’ve learnt a lot about certain individuals tonight.

We could have played a lower league side and won 5-0 but I would not have learnt a lot.

I was pleased with the players, we had some triallists and had a couple of under 18’s in there and they did well.”

“We will have perhaps slightly fewer players for Friday’s game and it will be good to play against a Football League side.”
