Our reports show that Ipswich Town have signed Manchester United midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe on loan until January. We reported yesterday that Ipswich showed their interest in the 20-year-old.
Tunnicliffe becomes Mick McCarthy’s 10th signing and trained with his new team-mates this morning.
He is set to play in the Town squad against Notts County for the club's friendly tomorrow (3pm k/o).
Brighton showed their interest in the player who has played at Peterborough and Barnsley in the past.
Tunnicliffe has made two sub appearances in the Capital One Cup for the Red Devils, in addition to 15 senior starts and 18 games from the bench for his loan sides.
Meanwhile, midfielders Cole Skuse and Paul Anderson will be assessed ahead of Saturday’s final friendly at Notts County. Skuse suffered a knee problem at Colchester on Tuesday, while Anderson has missed the last two games due to a minor hamstring injury.
