Chelmsford City are set to travel to Oakside Stadium on Saturday to face Redbridge with a 3pm kick-off.
City enter this game on the back of an impressive performance against League 2 outfit Southend United on Monday after the club's new signing Bertie Brayley netted a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw. The game will give Holdsworth another opportunity to assess his squad’s capabilities against the Ryman League Division One North side and improve the all-important fitness levels which are top of Dean’s priorities.
Redbridge were victorious in their first pre-season match against Tower Hamlets, winning 4-2. Their busy pre-season schedule includes teams such as East Thurrock United, Enfield 1893 and Clapton. The Motormen also discovered on Wednesday that they will begin their league campaign away at Erith and Belvedere on Saturday 10th August.
Ticket prices are Adults £6, Students/OAP's £4, Under 16's £1 and Under 12's are free. Tickets are available at the gate.
