Sudbury 2-5 Kings Lynn Town - MATCH REPORT

A seven goal thriller at the MEL Stadium saw visiting Kings Lynn take a 5-2 victory back to Norfork against AFC Sudbury.

After an uneventful opening 15 minutes, Kings Lynn received a penalty. Spriggs converted the penalty to send the Norfolk side ahead.

A couple of freekicks for Kings Lynn kept their attacking rates high.

But on 30 minutes, Sudbury received a chance to return on level terms: a corner sees Clarke shoved by Fryatt, with the referee pointing to the spot. Daniels slotted home the penalty to equalize.

KL had a second penalty when Shinn pushed Quigley. Spriggs shots a similar shot to previously, with AFC keeper Heath pulling off a fine save.

Minutes later, Sudbury took the lead - through yet again another penalty. Daniels took the penalty again to send the Suffolk side ahead.

On 41, Sprigg scored his second, drilling home from 15 yards to level the scores. Quigley gave Lynn the lead, minutes later after a scramble in the six-yard box.

HALF TIME - SUDBURY 2-3 KING'S LYNN

KL added a fourth goal after 53 minutes when Tolley headed home from a corner.

Spriggs completed his hat-trick to give Lynn a 5-3 lead after 68 minutes.

Sudbury had good chances to score as the half wore on - Antoine had a good shot on target, after a nice passing move.

The referee signaled for full-time, resulting in defeat for Sudbury.
