Thurrock's Arbitration decision and Sudbury friendly defeat

Thurrock FCIt has been confirmed that Sudbury will start the season away to relegated Thurrock FC, and host the Essex side on December 21st.

The decision comes after Thurrock were docked 3 points from fielding an ineligible player with the club appealing. The decision has been dismissed by the Arbitrator and dismissed the claim. This means Thurrock have been relegated from the Ryman Premier division.

Sudbury were defeated 3-1 in the Hadleigh Charity Cup (friendly) match at Millfield.

Baker netted the opener for Sudbury, before the hosts leveled the scores.

Sudbury received a penalty which Daniels stepped up to take with his shot saved by the Hadleigh keeper.

Before half-time, the home side scored their second, to give them the lead.

In the second half, the win was confirmed as Hadleigh scored their third.
