All Colchester United fixtures, home and away, plus any cup matches will be broadcast on the radio station.
"We are pleased to be working with BBC Essex in the coming season and we were happy to agree a deal that works for both parties," U's General Manager Tim Waddington said. "It promises to be an exciting season with the work that Joe has done in the transfer market so far and we are looking forward to working with BBC Essex not only on the matchdays, but also with regards to the fantastic community work that we carry out across their broadcast area."
The deal comes after Southend also agreed a deal to broadcast their games on BBC Essex.
