Blues appeal Corr's red card

Following on from the red card incident in the Hartlepool fixture at the weekend, Southend will appeal with regards to Barry Corr's sending off.

The club expected the hearing to take place this afternoon (Tuesday) with the outcome to be announce on here when available.

Manager Phil Brown believes the Blues will try to get the decision overturned.

“I’ve seen it again on the DVD and it’s very, very soft indeed,” said Brown.

“We will go through it all today and see what the chief executive and chairman think."
