Southend boss Phil Brown says his side will need to be prepared for another test when they face Chesterfield.
Brown says his side have dealt with all the tests thrown at them so far this season, including Northampton’s physical approach last weekend and now hopes his side can test Chesterfield.
He said: “Both teams are confident and both teams are undefeated so I’m expecting it will be a very good game of football.
“They had a tough game with Rochdale last weekend and Paul Cook probably was happy with a point hoping he could pick up three against Southend on Saturday. But we’re confident and we’re wanting to give a good account of ourselves to keep this excellent start to the season going.
“We’re buoyed by the three wins and three clean sheets we’ve picked up so far, it shows we’re doing something right in terms of hard work and quality.
“But we’ve got to keep that going. It’s early days and there’s a long way to go but we’ve got to make sure that winning mentality continues.”
The squad have been allowed to train at Leicester's ground: “Nigel (Pearson) has allowed us to use one of the pitches at Leicester which is fantastic,” said Brown.
“It helps us to prepare in the right way, just as we did against Hartlepool and we picked up an excellent three points there. Leicester is a good place and a good environment to go into so we’re delighted Nigel has allowed us to go there.”
