Farnborough v Chelmsford - Match postponed
Chelmsford's match away to Farnborough has been postponed due to a dispute between the Skrill Conference and Farnborough. A statement released on the Conference website yesterday reads the following:
"After the agreement of a CVA and the subsequent sale of Farnborough Football & Social Club Limited (in Administration) the Board of the Football Conference has recently been considering an application from the Administrator of the company to transfer its membership to a new company, Boro FC Limited (newco).
"Unfortunately, Boro FC Limited (newco) was unable to meet the criteria required for such a transfer before the deadline issued for 3pm today. Farnborough FC’s fixtures at home to Chelmsford City on Saturday, 17th August and away to Havant & Waterlooville on Monday, 19th August will not go ahead as the membership of the new company has not been approved."
