Birmingham came from behind to take a point against Ipswich while Colchester and Southend both lost 2-1 to Leyton Orient and Wycombe Wanderers respectively. In non-league action, Braintree beat Macclesfield Town 1-0 and Chelmsford lost 2-1 to Weston-Super-Mare. In the FA Cup Preliminary round, AFC Sudbury beat Ipswich Wanderers 4-1 at the MEL Group Stadium.

Burke's second half goal cancelled out Berra's opener as Birmingham came from behind to pick up an undeserved draw against Ipswich.
Following a dull opening 15 minutes, McGoldrick had a chance setup by Cresswell with the striker heading over.
Town took the lead after 30 minutes when defender Cresswell crossed to striker McGoldrick who with defender Christophe Berra headed in the ball from close-range.
But Burke's shot after 76 minutes looped over Town keeper Gerkin to equalize for the hosts.
Ferguson sent in a cross for Allan minutes later for the Midlands side but shot wide of the target.
Town felt they dropped points against a under-performing Birmingham side.

Leyton Orient picked up their first win at Colchester in over 60 years as the O's beat the U's 2-1 at the Weston Homes. The win helped maintain the O's perfect start to a season.
Mooney, who had a loan spell at the U's in 2010-11, fired the visitors ahead from close range.
Colchester levelled against the run of play when Jabo Ibehre fired past Jamie Jones from just inside the area.
But Kevin Lisbie then headed the O's back in front with a goal after 63 minutes. The London club held on for victory.

Steven Craig's first professional goal turned out the winning strike as Wycombe beat Southend 2-1 in their second win of the season.
Wood's free-kick met Morgan headed Wanderers into the lead after 7 minutes to pick up his third goal of the season.
The Blues were back on level terms when Freddy Eastwood fired in his fourth goal in four games, following Ryan Leonard's pull-back.
But Craig glanced in Kretzschmar's corner to make it 2-1 with his team holding for an unlikely win.

Enver-Marum's 47th minute strike saw Braintree to victory over former Football League side Macclesfield at the Moss Rose Stadium.
Rhys Taylor was called into action early on as he parried away a Liam Enver-Marum strike, while Braintree's Ryan Peters also made saves against Scott Boden and Danny Whitaker.
In the second-half, Enver-Marum fired a right-footed strike past Silkes keeper Taylor to seal victory for the Iron.
Chelmsford 1-2 Weston SM
Weston's second-half penalty taken by Plummer secured a win over Chelmsford at Melbourne Park.
Sam Long fired City in front with a first-half strike scored in the 36th minute, giving the Clarets a 1-0 lead going into half-time.
Diallo equalized the scores after good work between him and Plummer.
But Mark Haines tripped Grubb with the referee awarding a penalty. Plummer, who assisted Weston's first goal, converted from the spot past Clarets keeper Forecast.

Sudbury took the lead after 7 minutes, with Brother's cross setting up Swatman who taps in from close range. Wanderers levelled the scores five minute from half-time with a shot from Severy.
Sudbury then had three goals in seven minutes. First, Swatman scored after Cowley's effort was blocked. Then Baker stabbed home the ball from Cowley's c
ross to make it 3-1. An own goal from Tredway made the scoreline 4-1.
Sudbury were very dominant and could have score many more goals but were unable to convert their chances.
