AFC Sudbury have been informed of the decision of today’s FA Cup Sub-Committee meeting held to adjudicate on the abandoned FA Cup First Round Qualifying Tie between Sleaford Town and Huntingdon Town.
The decision is that both Clubs have been removed from the Competition and AFC Sudbury have been awarded a walkover to the Third Round Qualifying to be played on Saturday 12 October.
However, we have been informed that today’s decision is subject to an appeal with any appeal meeting scheduled for next week. Thereafter, the Football Association will of course inform us of any ramifications arising from any such appeal.
