Braintree Town and AFC Sudbury are both in league action tonight as the Iron travel to Wrexham while the Yellows host Burnham Ramblers.
Wrexham v Braintree
Braintree Town manager Alan Devonshire is expecting changes when his team travel to Wales to face Wrexham.
Dean Wells injured his hip in training ahead of Saturday's victory, while Sean Marks came off with a groin problem and both will be assessed for the trip to Wales.
Devonshire said: “Deano (Wells) was injured before the game. He did his hip and was touch and go, but we asked him before the game if he could get on the pitch to give us 45 minutes and when he got by with that, we got another 45 minutes and now we’ll have to wait and see how he is.
“He got by through reading the game and it shows how important a player he is for us but we’ll have to monitor it now and may have to leave him out. Sean (Marks) has a slight groin problem and we may have to change the system for Tuesday.
“I have seen them play, I know what I want to do and if I have to put some fresh legs in there then so be it. That’s what you have a squad for.”
Danny Sparkes missed Saturday’s game through illness as did Luke Daley with an ankle problem and both may be doubts again tonight.
AFC Sudbury v Burnham Ramblers
Burnham are the visitors to the MEL Group Stadium tonight as the Yellows host the Essex side tonight. AFC travel into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Erith (Saturday) after the Yellows dumped Burnham out of the FA Cup earlier this month.
Burnham travel into this game on the back of a 3-1 win over Barkingside. It will be the Essex clubs’ first ever visit to Suffolk, after their promotion last season.
The Yellow swill have to play without Michael Shinn who had to leave the pitch on Saturday with a ligament injury.
AFC Reserves are next in action on Saturday, when they host Leiston in the Suffolk Senior Cup before hosting Cornard Utd in the Thurlow Nunn League Cup.
