Ipswich 0-1 Burnley
Scott Arfield's header earned Burnley a 1-0 win over Ipswich in their Championship clash at Portman Road on Saturday.

Arfield stooped to keep Burnley at the top of the Championship with a hard-fought victory.

The midfielder headed Kieran Trippier's cross into the far corner in the 80th minute to give the Clarets their ninth win in 10 matches.

The final score was harsh on Ipswich, who shaded the chances and more than matched the league leaders.

Brentford 3-1 Colchester
Brentford came from behind to kick start their season with three goals in a devastating 10-minute spell to beat Colchester 3-1.

Magnus Ukuonghae gave the visitors the lead just after the break, rising unmarked to power home Luke Garbutt's corner.

But the Bees hit back in the 76th minute when Marcello Trotta slotted home Clayton Donaldson's low near-post cross.

Chelsea loanee George Saville put the home side ahead with 10 minutes remaining, firing home a curling drive from the edge of the area.

And the comeback was complete with minutes to go when on-loan Cardiff winger Kadeem Harris headed home on his league debut from Sam Saunders' precision cross at the far post.

Braintree 3-0 Chester
Charlie Strutton made it six goals in five games for Braintree to fire them to victory over nine-man Chester.

Hestruck twice in the space of 60 seconds to put the hosts in control, converting James Mulley's cross and then slotting home Chez Izaac's through ball, both with his left foot.

A Daniel Sparkes corner was poked home by defender Dean Wells for the third.

Chester defenders Paul Linwood and Lee Pugh were both shown straight red cards in the second half, although the Iron were unable to capitalise on any chances.

Chelmsford 3-0 Eastbourne Borough
Chelmsford City secured back-to-back victories after an encouraging 3-0 win over highly placed Eastbourne Borough, prompting praise from manager Dean Holdsworth.

Leon Redwood’s strike eight minutes before half-time ensured the hosts went into the interval in front.

An own goal by Lewis Tallack and a Sam Long strike, both in the second-half, saw the Clarets secure the three points.

AFC Sudbury 5-0 Crawley Down Gatwick

Sam Clarke placed a looping header over the bewildered Jack Eden in the Crawley goal to send the Yellows 1-0 up after five minutes before grabbing a second five minutes before half-time.

Henshaw made it 3-0 from a corner in the start of the second-half. Thompson made it 4-0 from a corner after 68 minutes before Swallow completed the win with his first senior goal.
