Southend v Fleetwood preview

Skybet League Two
Roots Hall
Friday 18th October, 7.45pm kick-off

Fleetwood Town could go top of the League Two table when they take on Southend at Roots Hall tonight.

On-loan defender Rob Kiernan is hoping to keep his place alongside Mark Phillips in the Southend defence.

But Luke Prosser (suspension) and Adam Thompson (international duty) are both available again, meaning Phil Brown could name an alternate side from the win over Burton last weekend.

Southend start tenth with 17 points and could leapfrog several teams to enter the play-off positions if they have a three-goal advantage minimum from tonight's game.
