McGoldrick 2'        Nugent 51' 57'

Portman Road - Attendance: 18227 - Referee: Oliver Langford - Skybet Championship

David Nugent scored twice on his 100th appearance for Leicester City as they came from behind to beat Ipswich Town and stay second in the Championship.

After beating Blackpool in their last game, Ipswich took an early lead against another high-flying team as McGoldrick's 25-yard strike, his seventh goal of the season, broke the deadlock.

Nugent finished crisply to cancel out David McGoldrick's early long-range strike for the home side.
And his second, six minutes later proved enough to take all three points.

Preston North End 1-1 Colchester

Garner 45'                Garbutt 76'

Deepdale - Attendance: 8492 - Referee: Scott Duncan - Skybet League One

Everton loanee Luke Garbutt hit a low drive shot midway through the second half to rescue a point after Garner put Preston ahead at the break.

The northern side dominated the first half and took the lead when Joe Garner headed in a Paul Gallagher cross.

The U's improved after the break, with Luke Garbutt, on loan from Everton, hitting a low drive to equalise - his first goal for Colchester.

Teammate Marcus Bean had a chance soon after, but he could only head over.

Southend 2-1 York City

Hurst 6'                         Bowman 56'
Prosser 90'

Roots Hall - Attendance: 9018 - Referee: Darren Sheldrake - Skybet League Two

Luke Prosser's injury-time goal secured Southend a late win against York as both sides ended the game with 10 men.

The Blues took an early lead, just after 6 minutes when Hurst fired in a perfectly-angled shot. But to Southend's disappointment, Bowman levelled with a low effort just before the hour.

Hurst was sent off minutes later for a second yellow card and Bowman followed him down the tunnel with four minutes to play.

Ben Coker's right-wing free-kick met the head of Prosser late in added time, who headed the ball in, to steal the win, in front of their highest attendance of the season.
