Luke Avenell (pictured) and Liam Smith have been called up to the Essex FA's Under 18's match against Sussex next Saturday.
Essex travel to Sussex to face a fellow under 18's squad in the Second Round of the FA County Youth Cup, with kick-off at 12.30pm for the rearranged fixture
Both will be unavailable for their respective club matches for the reserve teams.
17-year-old Sudbury shot-stopper Avenell is a regular in the Yellows squad since signing in summer, and "has produced some fine displays".
Liam Smith is a central midfielder, and has not played any club fixtures this season, according to our sources.
