Daryl Murphy headed home a late winner as the Blues came from behind to beat Huddersfield 2-1 at Portman Road. The Terriers were deservedly ahead at the break via Danny Ward, skipper James Vaughan having had a penalty saved at Town for the second successive season, but David McGoldrick equalised soon after the restart then Murphy won it in the 89th minute. 52

Southend United will be in the hat for the third round of the FA Cup after a fantastic 3-1 win away to Chesterfield.

Hosts Chesterfield opened the scoring as Tendayi Darikwa tapped home inside the opening three minutes.

Marc Laird made it 1-1 with his first goal in over a year, glancing home a header, before Anthony Straker grabbed his third FA Cup goal of the season to make it 2-1 inside the opening 16 minutes.

Barry Corr missed a second-half penalty for Blues but Kevan Hurst did just that in the 85th minute after terrific work from Straker.
