Ipswich aim to pick up their first home win on the fourth attempt when the Blues take on Lancashire side Blackburn in a full Championship programme. Elsewhere, Leiston are the visitors to Sudbury when the Yellows attempt to beat them in the Fourth Round of the Robert Dyas League Cup tonight.
Ipswich v Blackburn
Skybet Championship - Tuesday 3rd December - 7.45pm - Portman Road
Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy is not expected to make any changes from the team who beat Charlton 1-0.
Midfielder Luke Hyam could be on the bench after recovering from a back problem. Paul Taylor could miss out due to a shoulder injury he picked up.
“Luke is fine now but Tayls is still feeling the effects of a shoulder injury he picked up against Leicester,” Ipswcih boss Mick McCarthy told the club website.
“It’s unfortunate for him because having come back to us from his loan spell at Peterborough, it’s held up the momentum he was building up but it’s not a serious injury.
Sudbury v Leiston
Robert Dyas League Cup 4 - Tuesday 3rd December - 7.45pm - MEL Group Stadium
Leiston travel to Sudbury under their third manager of the season with former Sudbury Town player Steve Ball. He began his role at Victory Road last Saturday after beating Enfield Town 6-1 in a home victory.
A high number of former Sudbury players are in the current Leiston squad including goalkeeper Danny Gay, who could return to the MEL.
Leiston beat Needham Market 5-2 away and were 4-1 winners at Lowestoft Town.
Captain Sam Clarke will sit a one-match ban after picking up five yellow cards. Manager David Batch will in all probability shake up his side as he did in the previous round only last week when the side won 6-1 at Burnham Ramblers.
Essex Senior Cup Round Four matches (all 7:45pm)
