AFC Sudbury boss David Batch has signed midfielder Ryan Horne and striker James Akintunde on one-month loans from Cambridge United.
Cambridge Utd Youth coach, Mark Bonner said: “It’s the right time to send the boys out and help further their development by playing at a level above.
"We know David [Batch] really well and we know that he will look after the players in the right way to give them a positive experience.”
David Batch told AFC Sudbury: "These boys train every day with the first team and have featured in first team squads this season, so they have something to prove,
With so many games coming up they will get a chance it impress with us and it makes our squad very competitive for starting positions."
Cambridge United, of the Skrill Premier, are currently in 2nd position, behind leaders Luton Town.
Meanwhile, defender Ricky Spriggs has joined Thurlow Nunn Premier side FC Clacton.
