Iron v Macclesfield subject to pitch inspection

Braintree's match at home to Macclesfield Town in the Skrill Premier tomorrow is subject to a pitch inspection.

With Macclesfield planning to travel down tomorrow morning, a pitch inspection will take place at the Amlin Stadium at 10.30am by a local referee.

The Iron have not played a home game in the league since 28 December, having six matches (plus one away game) called off since mid-December due to waterlogged pitches.

Games against Gateshead, Lincoln City, Macclesfield, plus three attempts of the Cambridge match all were called off following torrential storms and rain in the region. Braintree's match away at Welling was called off, also due to a waterlogged pitch.
