Match-night Preview: Tue 28 Jan

Leeds United v Ipswich
Sky Bet Championship - Tue 28 Jan - 7.45pm

Ipswich will welcome former Leeds defender Frazer Richardson, who joined over the weekend on loan from Middlesbrough.

Edwards could return following a groin injury he picked up against Reading.

Hyam, Wordsworth and Ebanks-Blake are all still sideline, while Anderson may start for Town tonight.

Leeds are expected to play an unchanged side from their 1-0 defeat to Leicester at the weekend.

Shrewsbury Town v Colchester
Sky Bet League One - Tue 28 Jan - 7.45pm

A pitch inspection is planned at the Weston Homes, at 9.00am this morning by a local referee.

On-loan defender Alie Sesay could make his Colchester debut when they entertain managerless Shrewsbury after Graham Turner stepped down last week.

The 20-year-old joined the U's from Leicester last week on a deal until the end of the season as cover for Thompson.

United boss Joe Dunne has been boosted by Gavin Massey's return to full training, while Tom Eastman has overcome the back injury he picked up last time out at Carlisle.

Wright has been receiving treatment on a calf problem and racing to try and return to full fitness ahead of the clash.

Dagenham & Redbridge v Southend
Sky Bet League Two - Tue 28 Jan - 7.45pm

Lee Barnard could make his second debut for Southend when they take on Dagenham.

The 29-year-old striker, who enjoyed a two-year spell with the Shrimpers from 2008 to 2010, joined on loan from Southampton at the end of last week and is in line for his first appearance of the season.

Adam Thompson is set to continue at right-back with Luke O'Neill (thigh) and captain John White (shoulder) both struggling with injuries.

Seventh-placed Southend are unbeaten in their last six league games and could move into the automatic promotion places with victory over the Daggers.

Braintree v Macclesfield Town
Skrill Premier - Tue 28 Jan - 7.45pm

Braintree boss Alan Devonshire could be boosted by the return of up to three players when they take on Macclesfield.

Dean Wells (dead leg) and Alan Massey (ankle) missed the Irons' Essex Senior Cup clash with Harlow but are likely to come back into the fold on Tuesday.

Bernard Mensah, on loan from Watford, is in contention to make his first start for the club but Chez Isaac (knee) remains sidelined.

Braintree have not played a home game since December 28 due to a series of postponements, so Sam Habergham has had additional time to build up his fitness as he recovers from a shoulder injury.

Harlow Town v AFC Sudbury
Robert Dyas Cup Quarter-Finals - Tue 28 Jan - 7.45pm

David Batch is likely to include loan signings Ryan Horne and James Akintunde as AFC Sudbury travel to Harlow Town in the Quarter-Finals of the Robert Dyas Cup.

Horne and Akintunde joined the Yellows earlier this week, on loan from Cambridge United, while Shinn may return for tonight's clash.

AFC will travel to play on Harlow's recently installed 3G pitch of the Essex club, with an advantage of being able to play games despite the recent bad weather.

ROUTE TO QUARTER FINALS:
AFC - 1-0 at Bury,  6-1 at to Burnham, 3-1 on pens after 2-2 draw at home to Leiston.
Harlow - 1-0 at Waltham Forest, 2-1 at Enfield Town, 3-1 home win over Kingstonian.
