Southend had two second-half shots cleared off the line as they drew 1-1 with promotion-rivals Hartlepool.
A 66th minute shot from Hurst was cleared off the line, while Corr's 90th minute header was also cleared.
Boss Phil Brown felt his side should have won: "The lads put everything into the game and we just couldn't find that winning goal. I felt we deserved to win the game.
"It just didn't fall for us. Keep that attitude and mentality and we'll get the rewards."
Corr opened the scoring with his shot after 43 minutes from Hurst's cross.
But Walker's volley from Timlin's poor defensive clearance saw him equalise, in the 59th minute.
Southend felt they deserved the three points but neither side were unable to find a winner.
