AFC Sudbury Reserves are set to return to the MEL Group Stadium tonight, as they prepare to welcome Brantham Athletic in the Red Insure Cup quarter-final clash (kick-off 7.45pm).
The Yellows have been without a match at the Brundon Lane ground since December 14th, when they beat Great Yarmouth Town 5-0.
But tonight, the Yellows welcome the Thurlow Nunn Premier division club Brantham Athletic to the MEL, as they attempt to reach the semi-final stages of the League Cup.
PREVIOUS ENCOUNTERS:
The two Reserves teams last met in the Thurlow Nunn Reserve league in the 2012-13 season, when Athletic won both encounters (1-0 at Brantham, 3-0 at Sudbury). Brantham's first team and Sudbury Reserves team last met in August 2006 in a pre-season friendly, when the Yellows ran out 3-1 winners.
