Town players receive international call-ups

Called-up: Berra
Ipswich Town defender Christophe Berra and Town striker Daryl Murphy have both received international call-up for friendlies in the coming weeks.

Berra's Scotland entertain Poland in Warwick on Wednesday 5th March, as the 29-year-old hopes to earn his 29th cap, having played international football since 2008. He has scored two goals for Scotland.

Murphy's Republic of Ireland host Serbia in a friendly in Dublin on Wednesday 5th March, and the former Celtic player could win his first cap since 2008. Murphy has earned nine international caps, but is yet to score on international level.

Elsewhere, Tommy Smith, who has scored twice in 23 caps, has pulled out from New Zealand's international squad because he has chosen to stay with Town, to support them in their play-off push.
