Ipswich's play-off hopes are slipping away, after Wigan came from behind to beat Town 3-1, to continue their play-off push.

Ipswich made a strong start, having the first chance when Paul Anderson rose well to meet Stephen Hunt's free kick but the powerful header went narrowly over the crossbar.

And the home side took a deserved lead in the 19th minute when Wigan were twice unable to clear their lines and Smith met Cole Skuse's header back in to divert the ball past the diving Al-Habsi.

But the lead lasted two minutes when Boyce setup Fortune with his cross met by McClean who fired the ball low past Dean Gerken.

Jordi Gomez' free kick was met by the unmarked Barnett and the former Norwich man had the simple task of heading past Gerken, to put the Latics ahead.

Fortune sent the ball to the far post where McClean had the simple task of making it 3-1, to confirm the Latics with the win.
