AFC Sudbury skipper Sam Clarke will miss the remaining games of the season for the Yellows after suffering from a hernia.

It was announced on the club website this morning that the midfielder will miss the games at Needham, Ware, VCD Athletic, and the final home game against Heybridge.

The midfielder has clocked up 50 appearances for AFC this season, and will undergo an operation today (Monday).

Clarke has suffered from a hernia, which is where an internal part of the body pushes through a weakness in the muscle or surrounding tissue wall.
