AFC’s club website revealed that the 16-year-old signed a contract with the City Ground side this week.
Austin signed a contract with Nike’s Academy earlier this year, which selected some of the most talented footballers globally.
He appeared for AFC Sudbury Reserves/Under-21s three times this season, in the cup fixture against Brantham Athletic, the league fixture against Halstead Town, and a substitute appearance away at Ipswich Wanderers.
