Redbridge 2-3 AFC Sudbury

RYMAN DIVISION ONE NORTH
Thu 10th Apr 2014 - Oakfield Stadium - Att: 46 - Ref: A Ajobola

Payton Swatman's late strike saw AFC Sudbury beat Redbridge 3-2 despite being pegged back.

The Yellows took the lead as Ollie Hughes headed past Dean Driscoll, before skipper Sam Clarke doubled their advantage, with a header in the net from Jack Cawley's cross.

But Redbridge pulled a goal back with Parish's 20-yard effort beating Alex Archer, in their first effort of the half.

Horne replaced Akintunde for AFC Sudbury's first substitution of the evening.

But Redbridge drew level, soon after, as former AFC player Dan Charge lobbed Alex Archer.

However, Henshaw's shot deceived Motormen keeper Driscoll which let Swatman pounce on the loose ball to slot home.

Forshaw was replaced by Jordan Blackwell, who made his first team debut.

AFC supporter Ben Davies: "I felt we deserved to win. We were dodgy at the back and Redbridge were lacking in chances. They [AFC Sudbury] did well and got three points." Speaking on Jordan Blackwell, who made his debut, Ben said: "Blackwell had a couple of chances but couldn't convert them."

Bishop's Stortford 1-1 Chelmsford

SKRILL SOUTH
Thu 10th Apr 2014 - Woodside Park - Att: 775 - Ref:

Mark Hughes' first goal deep into injury time saw Chelmsford come from behind to draw 1-1 at Bishop's Stortford.

Callum McNaughton gave Stortford a 1-0 lead after 75 minutes after Christan Smith's original goal-line clearance saw the Stortford player smash home.

But Mark Hughes scored in the fifth minute of injury time to earn the Clarets a point.

The Northern Irish-born midfield earned his first Chelmsford goal in 35 appearances, with his late strike which came from nowhere.
