REPORT HERE!
AFC Sudbury's Under 19s squad will be in action when they host Thurston Youth in the Ipswich and Suffolk Youth League Under 19s Cup final at the MEL Group Stadium (kick-off 7.30pm). FANbase will reporting on the fixture, with updates from 6.30pm.
How the League works
The squad are in the Ipswich and Suffolk Youth Under 19s League. The Ipswich and Suffolk League organises youth football leagues for under-8s to under 18s. It was originally established in 1957. Teams in this league usually play on training pitches and do not play on official club's pitches. Teams in the Under 19s league play each team twice home and away in the main division, while a separate division is set up for the teams in the league cup.
Other teams in the division:
Thurston, Framlingham Town Knight, Honington Foxes, Ipswich Exiles

Colin Barnes is the current manager of the squad, and Kevin George is his assistant. The side play their fixtures at the football pitches in the Great Cornard Sport Centre (Synthetic Turf and Grass pitches at the centre plus floodlit for evening events) but this match will be played at AFC Sudbury's stadium, the MEL Group Stadium. The squad has fed many players to the club's Reserves squad in the Eastern Counties League.
