Town defender makes PFA team of the year

Ipswich defender Aaron Cresswell has made the Championship PFA team of the season, as announced last night.

Cresswell was quoted as to making "another huge contribution this term" for the Tractor Boys.

The PFA said on their website: "Often described by Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy as ‘the best left back in the Championship’, his fellow professionals have backed up the view of Aaron’s manager with this nomination.

"During the 2012-13 season he played in EVERY minute of EVERY game, and has made another huge contribution this term as the Tractor Boys push for a play-off place."

Elsewhere, Burnley and Leeds both had three players selected each, while league champions Leicester had Morgan and Drinkwater chosen.
