PREMIER LEAGUE
The top three teams, Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea qualify for the group stages of next season's Champions League while 4th placed Arsenal join at the play-off round. 5th placed Everton and 6th placed Tottenham qualify for the Europa League (group stage and play-offs respectively) after League Cup winners Man City and FA Cup winners Arsenal already qualified with a top four finish. This means Hull City also qualify for the Europa League at the Third Qualifying Round.
Fulham and Cardiff were relegated on May 3rd after losing in their respective games. Norwich were confirmed as the third and final team to get relegated. All three teams will play in the Championship for next season.
CHAMPIONSHIP
Leicester and Burnley were automatically promoted to the Premier League. Derby will face QPR in the Championship play-offs, to decide the final promotion spot.
Doncaster were relegated to League One after a 1-0 defeat, and joining already-relegated Barnsley and Yeovil, after Birmingham's late comeback earned the Blues a draw, to keep them up.
LEAGUE ONE
Wolverhampton and Brentford secured automatic promotion spots to the Championship. Leyton Orient will play Rotherham in the play-offs for the third promotion spot to the Championship.
Tranmere and Carlisle were relegated on the final day of the season, and joining already-relegated Shrewsbury and Stevenage, to send the four clubs down to League Two
LEAGUE TWO
Chesterfield were crowned champions of League Two, after their victory on the final day of the season, closely followed by Scunthorpe, and Rochdale secured the third automatic promotion spot. Fleetwood will face Burton in the play-off final.
Torquay dropped out of the Football League prior to Saturday's matches and were joined by Bristol Rovers, who go down to the Skrill Football Conference on goal difference, behind Wycombe.
CONFERENCE
Luton were champions in mid-April and automatically go up to Football League Two (fourth tier of English football).
Cambridge beat Gateshead to win the play-off final and decide the second promotion spot. Braintree missed out on the play-offs on the final day of the season.
