Hungarian trialist Bajner joins Town

Ipswich Town trialist Balint Bajner has confirmed via social media that he has signed for the Blues.

Reports suggest the 23-year-old Hungarian underwent a medical at Portman Road this afternoon, and has signed this evening with confirmation expecte
d on Thursday.

Asked whether he was joining Town by a fan on Instagram, Bajner responded. “Yes, of course. Thank you for the question.”

Bajner will be joining Town, after playing in Borussia Dortmond's reserve squad, and several appearances for the first team.

The Hungarian, who scored for Town in their 2-1 win at Southend on Wednesday, has international experience at under-19s level, and has played for Premier League side West Ham previously in his career.
