Cresswell's former club Tranmere Rover are due to receive 20% from a sell-on clause.
Cresswell is expected to face his former side when Town host the Premier League side in a pre-season friendly.

However, Town are showing interest in Notts County goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski, with sources suggesting a deal could be confirmed today.
