Former West Ham youngster Robert Girdlestone (pictured) has signed for Chelmsford City.The defender has been part of the West Ham youth set-up and has joined City after his release from the London-based side.
The 18-year-old made just three appearances for the Hammers in the Barclays Under 18s League last season
Also, Oliver Devenish has returned to Chelmsford City, joining from Leeds Met University. The youngster played for the Clarets during the second-half of last season
