Ipswich Town striker David McGoldrick is expected to join Premier League side Leicester City, who are offering £8 million.
Reports have revealed that McGoldrick is not part of the travelling squad that have gone for Town's Sky Bet Championship match at Derby on Saturday, with the boss confirming in a pre-match conference that 'Didz' was not injured.
The 26-year-old joined the Tractor Boys in 2013, originally on loan from Nottingham Forest before signing a permanent deal later that summer.
The striker has made roughly fifth apperances for the Suffolk side, scoring 15 goals last season and was Town's top scorer.
