AFC Sudbury take a break from Ryman League action tonight as they host Suffolk neighbours Bury Town in the first round of the Robert Dyas League Cup (7.45pm).
The Yellows drew 0-0 with league rivals Harlow Town on Saturday, to continue fine form that takes them into tonight's match.Bury Town, of the Ryman Premier division, lost 4-1 to Margate in their last league outing.
AFC Sudbury reached the final of this competition last season, but lost 3-0 to Ryman Premier side Maidstone United, who start the tournament tonight at home to Cray Wanderers.
The two sides last met in pre-season during a memorial match, with the match won by Sudbury, two goals to one.
Kris Newby will start his three-match suspension tonight, while Ryan Henshall should be fit to play tonight.
