Maidstone to host, after AFC dispatched Bognor

AFC Sudbury are set to visit Maidstone United in the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy, after they knocked out Bognor Regis in a replay on Tuesday.

A late injury time goal saw Bognor Regis grab a 2-2 draw at Nyewood Lane on Saturday. Robinson's penalty gave the Rocks a first half lead before Correy Davidson and James Baker turned the match on its head, as they put Sudbury ahead before Pearce levelled later on. The replay on Tuesday night saw goals from Craig Pope and Lee Flynn give the Yellows victory before a late strike from Pearce threatened the hosts. But AFC held on to beat their higher-opposition opponents.

Ryman Premier side Maidstone United will host AFC Sudbury in the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy on Saturday 15th November, with details of a supporters coach to be announced soon.

The Yellows will travel to the Kent side for the second time in two seasons, after the two sides met in the Robert Dyas League Cup Final last season. The Stones ran out 3-0 winners during that match.

This will mean AFC's league match at home to Soham Town Rangers, originally scheduled for Saturday 15th, will be rescheduled for a new date.
