Swatman to join Kirkley permanently from AFC

AFC Sudbury manager David Batch has announced that midfielder Payton Swatman has permanently joined Thurlow Nunn Premier side Kirkley and Pakefield.

The midfielder joined AFC Sudbury last summer from Wroxham, but joined the Lowestoft-based club in October, this year, on loan.

The Yellows boss said that Swatman intends to travel to the United States for a football scholarship, next year.

Elsewhere, defender Tyler Kemp has returned to the Brundon Lane club from his loan spell at Thurlow Nunn Premier side Haverhill Rovers. The defender should be available for the club's match at home to Aveley on Saturday.

AFC Sudbury progress through into the first round proper of the FA Trophy last night, after they beat St Neots Town 1-0 at home. AFC travel to Braintree Town on Saturday 13th December (3pm).
