Braintree Town's Vanarama Conference match at home to Macclesfield Town has been postponed after a pitch inspection.

A local referee ruled the playing surface unplayable and the game will now have to be rearranged.

Snowfall and freezing temperatures occurred in the area during the previous 48 hours.

A date has yet to be announced for the re-scheduled fixture.
