AFC Sudbury will return to Thurlow Nunn First Division action today, as the Yellows host Cornard United in a local derby (3pm K/O).
The Yellows beat Haverhill Borough 3-1 in the First Division KO Cup semi-final on Tuesday, and they will look to continue this form going into this afternoon's fixture.
Bloomfield said he hopes to help to make a long-term impact, with team manager Danny Laws hailing the signing.
Danny Bloomfield has had experience at Norwich City, AFC Bournemouth, Cambridge City, Kings Lynn and Needham Market - to name a few of his former clubs. Bloomfield previously played for AFC between 2008 and 2010.
The bottom of the table side have won just three league games this season, drawn four, and lost 17. One of those wins was against Sudbury - as the Ards run out 2-0 winners at Blackhouse Lane.
The two sides also met in the Thurlow Nunn First Division KO Cup, as AFC thrashed Cornard 10-2.
With Sudbury's first team in action away at Tilbury (Ryman North, 3pm), it could mean Danny Laws could be without several key players.
