ROUND-UP: Thurlow Nunn 1st Division - 7th March 2015

Long Melford ran out 1-0 winners, as they beat local rivals Cornard Utd 1-0, at Blackhouse Lane, courtesy of a first half penalty, to continue their promotion push.

Saffron Walden's promotion push was dented, as they fell to a 3-0 home loss to fellow promotion chasers Swaffham Town. Another bumper crowd was at Catons Lane - 462 in attendance.

The 10-men of Great Yarmouth held on to beat Kings Lynn Town Reserves 2-0 at the Walks, with Yarmouth still eight points from 3rd.

AFC Sudbury Reserves came from behind to beat Stowmarket 2-1, at Green Meadow, with 35 in attendance.

Elsewhere, Dereham Reserves beat Halstead Town 1-0, 10-man March Town left it late to beat Downham Town 1-0, and Team Bury and Haverhill Borough played out a goalless stalement, at Ram Meadow.

Two First Division clubs were in action in the Suffolk Senior Cup: Debenham progressed through to the semi finals, after beating Felixstowe Harper 4-3 on Penalties. Woodbridge Town were thrashed 5-0 away at Crane Sports, in the Senior Cup Quarter-finals.

I will be reporting from AFC Sudbury Res v Braintree Town Res next Sat (14th) for FANbase and AFC (updates on Twitter: @FANbaseBlog).
