Five depart AFC Sudbury, as Brightlingsea midfielder joins

AFC Sudbury have announced that midfielder Oliver Canfer has signed from Brightlingsea Regent.

The player, who has previously played for Hadleigh United, and Ramsgate FC, impressed manager Jamie Godbold, during the league encounter in April. The AFC boss was delighted with the signing.

However, Terry Rymer has been released by AFC, and has joined Thurlow Nunn Premier side Stanway Rovers. Tyler Kemp and Scott Kemp have also both departed the Wardale-Williams Stadium, alongside youngster Josh Kerridge.

Goalkeeper Alex Archer, who was out at loan at Bury Town during the second-half of the season, has been transfer-listed alongside former Witham Town striker Kris Newby, who also exits AFC.

football through experience with the Reserves.
