Southend United will look to make it third time lucky on Saturday evening, as they face Wycombe Wanderers in the final of the League Two Play-Offs, at Wembley (kick-off 5.30pm, Sky Sports 1 from 5pm).
The Blues will face the Chairboys, after overcoming Stevenage: a 1-1 draw at the Lamex was followed by a 3-1 extra time victory for Southend at Roots Hall, last week. Meanwhile, Wanderers beat Plymouth 5-3 on aggregate to reach the play-off final (3-2 win at Plymouth, 2-1 home win).
Wycombe beat Southend 4-1 at Adams Park, while the two sides drew 2-2 at Roots Hall, in the two regular league meetings.
The Football League play-offs will go ahead as planned this weekend after an unexploded War bomb found near Wembley was removed.
Southend will wear their yellow and black away strip, while Wycombe will wear their standard blue kit.
Team News
Boss Phil Brown will be without Adam Thompson, who has a dislocated shoulder, but other than that, has a full squad to choose from.
Wycombe goalkeeper Matt Ingram is unlikely to play, while striker Steven Craig has recovered from a hamstring injury.
Third Time Lucky?
Southend have been knocked out of the play-offs, at the semi-final stages in 2012 (losing 3-2 on agg. to Crewe Alexandra) and 2013 (losing 3-2 on agg. to Burton Albion), and so will look to go all the way this time round.
Southend will return to Wembley, after previously visiting the home of football for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final in 2013, finishing as runners-up to Crewe Alexandra.
