Colchester United will welcome Skybet Championship side Fulham, and Skybet League Two side Leyton Orient to the Weston Homes during pre-season.Leyton Orient will visit the Weston Homes on Saturday 25th July (3pm kick-off), before a 'Fulham XI' side will visit the U's, a week later, on Saturday 1st August (3pm kick-off).
Meanwhile, United's friendly with non-league side St Neots Town has been cancelled. A new friendly will be arranged for this date - July 14th.
Fulham finished last season 17th, in the Championship, after being relegated from the Premier League the season prior.
The most recent meeting dates back to 1998, in the English Second Division, when Fulham beat the U's 2-0 at Craven Cottage. Current Cottagers boss Kit Symons was part of the Fulham side that day.
Leyton Orient were relegated from League One last season, and the O's lost both league meetings. 2-0 to Colchester in both encounters.
Prices for the games will be confirmed in due course.
Colchester have also announced that their family open day will be held on Sunday 19th July (11am to 4pm).
