Ipswich Town drew 0-0 away at Peterborough United, in Saturday's pre-season friendly at London Road.
Last season's top scorer Daryl Murphy returned to the Ipswich side, while former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Giles Coke, started for Town.
Marcus Maddison fired a free-kick over for the hosts, after 62 minutes.
Adam McDonnell struck the post in the 68th minute, following Alex Henshall and Kevin Bru's build-up play.

Colchester fell to their first defeat of pre-season, as they were defeat 3-0 by League Two side Leyton Orient. A brace from Paul McCallum helped the O's to victory.
McCallum opened the scoring, as he headed home a cross from Sean Clohessy, midway through the first period.
McCallum earned his, and Leyton Orient's second goal, at the start of the second half, as he headed home Pritchard's ball.
Young striker Scott Kashket, who replaced McCallum, calmed slotted home, on 75 minutes, within a minute of his introduction, to seal the win for the visitors.
Richard Brindley fired an effort over the bar, while Sembie-Ferris had a low effort blocked by Gary Woods, for the U's.

A brace from Matt McClure helped Dagenham & Redbridge come from behind to beat Southend United 2-1.
The Blues took the lead as Michael Timlin powered home a header from Hurst's 35th minute corner, past Mark Cousins.
McClure headed home from a corner on the stroke of half-time, as he equalised for the hosts.
Matt McClure earned his second goal of the afternoon, as he slotted a low effort past Paul Smith, nine minutes into the half.
Leonard sent an effort wide of the post, in the closing stages, for the visitors, while Mooney had an effort blocked, prior to the final whistle.

AFC Sudbury were defeated 4-1 by Evo-Stik Southern League side King's Lynn Town, on Saturday.
Jordan Blackwell gave AFC an early lead, as he went around home keeper Alex Street, and slotted home.
On 30', the hosts were back into the game, as Lee Stevenson fired past Ollie Bowles, from Marshall's ball.
After the break, Stevenson doubled Lynn's lead, as he shot home from close range, while Marshall fired past Bowles, for the home side's third goal.
Sudbury's defeat was confirmed in the closing stages, as Michael Clunan fired home from the penalty spot, after Stephano Mallardo fouled Jackson Ramm.
