Braces from Rob Whitnell and Chris Bryan helped Essex Senior League side Bowers & Pitsea thrash AFC Sudbury 9-1, in a friendly.
With AFC's first team squad travelling away to Ely City, Danny Laws played an under-21s youth team away at Bowers.
Midfielder Aaron Russell gave the hosts an early lead, lobbing the ball over visiting keeper Johnson.
It was 2-0 soon after, as Bryan setup Michael Beggs, who fired home from close range.
Defenders Vincent Durrant and Luke Wilson both scored to make it four, before Chris Bryan lobbed AFC's keeper, to give the hosts a half-time 5-0 lead.
Bryan got his second of the match, as he headed home from Alfie Hilton's corner, straight from the restart.
Olly Dunlop hit the crossbar for the visitors, but the Essex side extended their lead, as Ash Blackburn fired home to make it 7.
A good run by Finneran sent the ball to Jack Gardener, who crossed to Rob Whitnell, who headed the ball home into the net.
Sudbury pulled a goal back in the closing stages, through James Axcell, but Whitnell bagged his second goal for the hosts, to see off the Suffolk visitors.
